Donald is skating around on a frozen pond, showing off (in only a way that Donald does). Huey, Dewy, and Louie come out onto the pond and start playing hockey. While criticizing their skills, proceeds to show them a trophy that he just so happens to be carrying with him. they boys, highly doubtful, challenge Uncle Donald to a game of hockey. When he scores a bunch of goals on the boys, he turns cocky in that Donald Duck way. Then he decided to tell the boys that he will face them blindfolded, that is when the boys decide enough with hockey, and start to antagonize him. They do all sorts of stuff to poor Donald, like while in chase, Donald runs into an ice wall, falls down a frozen well, and has a hockey puck shot directly into his mouth. The boys ultimately hit him into the goal net hard enough to transforms into a cage that traps Donald like a bird.
Donald and the boys are going golfing. Donald of course, gets distracted by the noise hwle he is trying to play the hole.
The boys start messing with him, first by switching out his clubs. Then they switch out the golf ball for a frog. Overall, the boys are trying to prove that they are better golfers than Uncle Donald, all while messing with him, which of course leads to that classic Donald Duck temper!
By far and away the best trip/vacation I have had happened back in October 2022. I went out of my comfort zone, and went to Walt Disney World….BY MYSELF!!!
Now, if you had asked me if I ever would have done a solo trip to Walt Disney World, I would have laughed in your face and told you that you were out of your damn mind. But after everything I had been through with Covid-19 pandemic and then my mom having and surviving a double brain aneurysm, I had had enough and I was going, regardless of anyone coming with me. Also, let me assure you that this was also the most researched vacation that I have ever planned.
A little back story as to why this trip meant so much to me. I made my first trip to Disney World back in July of 1997 for Dance Nationals. On non-dance days, Mom and I made our way to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios. Magic Kingdom at that time was celebrating 25 years. I was 17.5 years old at the time. Right th en and there, I made a promise to myself that since I was here for 25, I would come back for 50. I fulfilled that promise to 17 year old Erin on October 31, 2022.
So, the 50th began ion October 1, 2021 and the Walt Disney Company decided they were, due to the pandemic, going to extend the celebration to 18 months instead of the normal 122 month peroid. I, of course, decided to hold off till everything went back to normal. After Easter of 2022, I officially booked my vacation,
The Disney Resort I stayed at was Port Orleans French Quarter. I HIGHTLY RECOMMEND THIS RESORT!! It is a Moderade Resort, and the smallest of the Moderates, hence one of the many reasons I love it, It has great decor, a great sized pool for kids and adults alike, a splash pad for the littles, a playgroud for the kids, great food in the food court, and a great poolside bar to get yummy adult beverages. This was the second time I have stayed here. They also do activiities at the resort as well. A wonderful example was the Halloween night event for guests who did not attend Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. They had sojme candy stations, a costume contenst for kids and adults, a DJ, and a Bonfire to oo S’mores. On my last day of vacation, the resort had a “Cajun” Bonfire where you could hang out and do S”mores. During the day at the pool, therer was daily trivia and pool games.
Now, onto the park days…..
October 31, 2022-MAGIC KINGDOM DAY!!! I rope droped (because I stayed on Disney Property, I got to enter the park 30 minutes before it opeend to the general public). Its pretty cool to be able to rope drop into the park while its still dark outside without being there till 10 pm. You get to see the castle lit up, along with everything on Main Streetas well. My only issue that day was that Space Mountian was down all day, and that is my all time favorite ride at Magic Kingdom. But overall, it was such a wonderful day! I got to do what I wanted on my timeline.

November 2, 2022-EPCOT DAY!!!
Now, when I go to Disney World, Epcot is in the thrawls of the International Food and Wine Festival. You get to try food and drink at each of the countries in the World Showcase (you do have to pay for these). I didn’t get to try as many as I had originally
I had lunch this day at Via Napoli.
I got to meet seven characters while at Epcot that day:
*Pluto
*Elsa
*Anna
*Snow White (Because she is the first Disney Princess, and she was Nana’s Favorite Disney Princess. Not gonna lie, as I was walking away and heading toward France to meet Belle, I got misty eyed at meeting Snow White, as I know Nana was with me throughout the entire interaction).
*Belle (DREAMS DO COME TRUE!! BELLE IS MY FAVORITE DISNEY PRINCESS!!!)
*Alice
*Mary Poppins
My two rides for the day were

This one has always been one of my favorites. I saw this many times on the Disney Channel circa the 80’s as a child.
This one follows Mickey as he dozes off to sleep after reading Through The Looking Glass. His spirit wakes up and steps through his bedroom mirror in to Wonderland. He is skipping rope with an old fashioned phone, then begins a tap dance routine. Leads a deck of card in a march, then shuffle. Starts to dance with the Queen of Hearts. The King of Hearts sees this, and becomes extremely jealous. Challenges him to a duel. All of the cards start to go after Mickey, on orders of the King. He then goes back through the mirror just in time. Then Mickey wakes up and realizes it was all just a dream!
Also Starring: Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, Pluto
Town is out skating on the frozen pond. Minnie is not steady on her skates. Mickey is there to help. He then proceeds to start showing off. Here comes Goofy to something in the way of annoying the fish that isn’t fishing. Now comes Donald, and he spots Pluto on the snow, sleeping. Decides to mess with him. Pluto is not very good on ice skates at all. He just wants to go after Donald, but cannot. He gets caught up in a kite and is about to go over a waterfall. Mickey helps and saves the day.
Pluto has gotten a new doghouse!! Mickey is putting the finishing touches on it. Mailman comes to the house to drop off a huge crate. Mickey is trying to figure out what it is, and Pluto starts to sniff it out. Out comes a kangaroo!! Not is it just a kangaroo, it is a boxing kangaroo. Pluto is none to happy with our new friend. It has totally demolished his new house!!! Pluto tries to fight him, but to no avail. Mickey discovers a baby boxing joey in the kangaroo’s pouch. Pluto starts to hatch evil in his mind, starting with the joey. Mickey and the kangaroo get into a boxing ring. Mickey is loosing, bad.ly. Pluto winds up having a soft spot and feelings for the joey. Mickey winds up in a barrel of hay, and the kangaroo has both Pluto and the joey in her pouch in front of the fireplace.
Also Starring: Pigs and Cows as the band, Donald Duck
Mickey is conducting a concert in the park They are gearing up for their William Tell Overture number. Not the best band in the world, but they are getting the job done. Donald starts strolling through the crowd selling ice cream. Mickey is annoyed. Then he pulls out a flute and starts playing with the band. Mickey takes it away from him and breaks it in half. Not to fear friends, Donald has multiple flutes stashed in his jacket (somehow). He is back at it. When Mickey takes away the second flute and snaps it in half, he throws a fit, Donald style. Damn Mickey, a duck just wants to play!!! Bee flies by, and starts reeking havoc. It does go down and out of Mickey’s robe, making Mickey conduct all wacky. It starts to get windy, and a tornado is coming!! The crowd disperses. Donald gets tangled all up in a tree. It sucks up the band, whirls them around in the tornado, then drops them all in various branches of a tree. They are still playing though!
Crew is getting ready to pave a street, and Mickey is operating the steamroller. Minnie is walking Mickey’s nephews down the sidewalk in their stroller. They see Uncle Mickey driving the steamroller down the street. He hitches up the stroller to the back of the steamroller and Minnie is sitting at the bottom. Stops so that Mickey can give Minnie some candy hearts. One of them says Kiss Me, so Mickey starts chasing Minnie around to get his kiss, Meanwhile, the twins get out of their stroller, and into the steamroller, and somehow between the two of them, get it started. They are having the time of their lives. Mickey sees this, and starts to give chase to get back on the steamroller, so that he can take back control. They are reeking everything, and want absolutely no help from Uncle Mickey because they are having too much fun!!!
Moral of story: Don’t get off your equipment to flirt and chase your girlfriend around and not pay attention to your little nephews. Look what happens!
Pluto wants to play while Mickey is racking leaves. Tornado comes through, and the leaves all miracusly end up perfectly in a basket. Pluto plows through and dumps the basket full of leaves. Mickey is mad, but not for very long, for Pluto’s sake. Turns hose on and gets his pal Pluto all wet, and Pluto winds up breaking the spigit on the house due to him getting tangled all up in the hose and the pressure builds up too much. Mickey cannot turn it off. so off to the cellar they go so that he can turn the water off from the valve in cellar.
