There are many out there who have issues with grown adults going to Walt Disney World without any children.. My question to you is this….why do you care, and why do you feel the need to open your mouth and criticize A GROWN ADULT as to why they are without any kids.

I am here to tell you my reasons for going to Walt Disney World, without children, not that I NEVER NEED TO EXPLAIN TO YOU MY REASONS, BUT HERE WE ARE!

  1. Whether it be Disneyland or Walt Disney World, it is my happy and safe place!!! I have been going to these oarks on and off since I was three years. I love everything to do with Disney.
  2. Character Meet and Greets: I love being able to spend a few minutes with my favorite characters and recieve huge hugs, chat and ineteract with them, get an autograph, and get a picture with said characters.
  3. Parades/Shows/Fireworks: Have you ever seen one? It gives me some time to stop and enoy some of that unique Disney entertainment in person!! And has anyone seen Happily Ever After? I had tears in my eyes throughout most of that show, and I was two days out from turning 40!!! So don’t tell me that Disney still does not hit you in the feels with that show, cuz I can assure you, it does!
  4. THE FOOD: HAVE YOU EVER EATEN ANY FOOD AT DISNEY? IT IS TRULEY OUT OF THIS WORLD! I have emensley enjoyed everything I have eaten thus far at Walt Disney World, and I have plenty more to try! Whether table service, quick service, a snack (hello, Strawberry Dole Whip), to me, you cannot go wrong! For table service, I have eaten at Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom, The Biergarten and Via Napoli in Epcot, Enzo’s Hidaway Speakeasy at Disney Springs, 1900 Park Faire at The Grand Floridian for breakfast, Storybook Dining at Artisian Point at The Wilderness Lodge, and Boatwright’s Dining Hall at Port Orleans Riverside. If you have any food allergies, when you are making your dining reservation, there is a spot that you can specify, and they will help you out when you get to your dining reservation to make sure that there is something safe for you to eat. Now that is service!
  5. Lastly, again for me it is nostalgia, it is enjoyment, and being truly happy and safe at The Happiest Place on Earth. Plain and simple. And there is nothing better to than Disney tired !!!

So to all you other Disney Adults out there, you keep rocking on, and enjoy our happy place!! No need to justify to anyone why you are there, whether with or without kids. We are there to be on vacation, to relax, and to have a great time, and eat some great food.

To the naysayers who feel the need to open your mouths, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I am there, after saving my hard earned money to go to a place I love and to enjoy myself. Maybe, just keep your opinions to yourselves.
